Croatian pianist and dancer Maja Dobrila asked me to help her in realization of costume for exhibition and play dedicated to life and work of Virginia Wolf. Event took place in Rijeka in Croatia.
I made a costume and realize whole concept inspired by deep and tragic life of this beautiful writer Virginia Wolf.
The costume was constructed in three layers following the three phases of her life.

• The first layer was part of her life that other people expected from her to live. This level of costume is white splashed with mud, beautiful only from outside but from the underneath.
• The second layer, covered with thorns, was petticoat. It symbolized her inner pain that she felt.
• The third layer was transparent dress in color of water and mud as symbol of water and mud in which she took herself a life. In addition, this layer is a symbol of her free life dance released from tights that others imposed to her.

Maja Dobrila’s body was cover with writings and sentences that Virginia wrote.
Exhibition and performance provoked excitement of Croatian public.
I managed a photo session of a model in this costume at Castle Dundjerski. The session was created in order to show all layers of costume and an idea of how it’s supposed to be used in the play, because I wasn’t able to be in Rijeka to showed it myself. 

Ovim kreacijama sam imao želju da  dovedem novu publiku u pozorište.
Inspirisan delima italijanskog arhitekte, kaluđera fratra Konstantina i njegovim rečima: ’’LEPOTA ĆE SPASITI SVET’’, dobio sam inspiraciju za formu i koncept ovog savremenog baleta.
Ljudi su željni lepote u bilo kom obliku. Trebalo bi da je pokrenemo i proširimo na sve moguće i nemoguće načine.
